Milk Bar Mondays - Bagel Bombs

This recipe for Milk Bar Mondays is unlike the others.  The reason being this treat is not sweet!  It's a Bagel Bomb - A soft bagel dough filled with a mixture of Cream Cheese and Scallions.  The original recipe in the Momofuku Milk Bar Cookbook adds bacon to the filling.  I didn't have bacon on hand so I cut it out and they still came out delicious!  Really, you could play around with the filling recipe and add anything you want.  I know some of my fellow Milk Bar Monday ladies filled their Bagel Bombs with jalapeños and cheddar cheese!  That's the great thing about this recipe, you can create any taste combination you desire.

When my husband took his first bite of these Bagel Bombs he literally uttered the words, "Holy crap these are good." And he wasn't lying.  These are amazing!  A perfect breakfast/brunch item; or even a dinner addition.
