Churros

Whenever me and Steve go to the fair or Disneyland (our favorite theme park!) we almost always get a churro.  A churro is essentially fried dough rolled in cinnamon-sugar.  It is one of those guilty pleasure desserts that we only let ourselves eat on special occasions.  We’ll we got lucky because we got to indulge in this delicious cinnamon-sugar treat this week!

Earlier this week I was thinking of a dessert to share with you guys for Cinco de Mayo.  I didn’t want to make the traditional Flan, or Dulce de Leche Cake.  I wanted to share something a little bit more special :).  And I think I found something extra special!

Churros are surprisingly easy to make.  They have very little (& simple) ingredients that come together quick, but make up an amazing outcome!  These churros have incredible flavor!  The cinnamon-sugar coating gives it the perfect sweetness.  And then the crunch adds great texture.

These churros would be perfect for a party!  Just put them out in a glass, or on a plate, and let your guests have at it :).  Trust me – these churros will definitely have everyone asking for more!
